About the Survey

The European Sustainable Finance Survey is an annual survey commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) on the topics of sustainable financing and the EU taxonomy. 

The first edition in 2020 focused on the taxonomy compliance of large European companies and some commercial banks. In 2021, the focus is on how public financial institutions in Europe can use the taxonomy to promote sustainable development in line with the European Green Deal and the European Recovery Plan.

The survey is implemented by adelphi in cooperation with partners.
